12th Annual Fishing Tournament

Come join us on Saturday, May 16, 2015 for our 12th Annual Fishing Tournament in the Galveston Bay area hosted by the Texas Coastal Fishers of Men.  The event starts at 12:00 a.m. and the weigh-in deadline is at 2:30 p.m. at Topwater Grill on April Fool Point in San Leon, Texas.   The tournament is open to everyone.  There will be catered food, trophies & prizes, fish stories, and great fun & fellowship.  The tournament is sponsored by local businesses in the Houston/Galveston area. 

Last year, over 53 sponsors helped us raise $17,066 in support of Helping a Hero. Thank you for your continued support.

The tournament is open to everyone. To register, please visit the Texas Coastal Fishers of Men website and complete the registration form. All proceeds of the event will benefit Helping A Hero. Sponsorship levels begin at $125.   Deadline for company name to appear on T-shirts is May 1st, 2015.

Please join us as we break ground on a new adapted home for SSgt (Ret.) Johnnie Yellock II, USAF in Lantana, TX. Special guest and National Ambassador for Helping a Hero, Lee Greenwood, will celebrate with us as we begin construction on this new home. 

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

We are about to begin work on a specially adapted Helping A Hero home for a severely wounded veteran in Aberdeen, North Carolina!

The festivities will begin at 1:00pm. Lt. Governor Dan Forest will be our Special Guest and and we'll conclude with refreshments at the Legacy Lakes Clubhouse.
